In 2007 members the Oshkosh Southwest Rotary came together to create this trademark event after seeing the growing issue of youths being stuck behind a television or computer screen. They decided to rally the community to help fund efforts to get youths up, outdoors and involved in local conservation efforts. Since its inception, Battle on Bago has generated net proceeds of nearly $1.95 Million!

Glenn Curran – Founder and President of Battle on Bago, resides in Winneconne, WI with his wife and two boys. Glenn is employed at Bank First National as the Senior Vice President. He enjoys spending time with his family along with time outdoors hunting and fishing. He was actively involved in Oshkosh Southwest Rotary for 11 years, serving as President in 2011-2012 in addition to serving on the board of directors for the Oshkosh Boy’s & Girls Club, YMCA of Oshkosh, and Otter Street Fishing Club. He was a Leadership Oshkosh Graduate ’06, past volunteer for Junior Achievement, and as a Hunter’s Safety Instructor.

Todd Reuss (“Rooster”) Grew up in Ashwaubenon, WI. Graduating from high school in 1984, and then attending UW-Oshkosh majoring in Marketing and Management Information Systems with a minor in Finance. Todd currently lives in Winneconne with his wife Laura, son Tristan and daughter Isabel and enjoys hunting, fishing, and camping. He has been employed at General Beverage Sales Company in Oshkosh since 1993 and joined The Oshkosh Southwest Rotary in 2008 and works with the Battle on Bago Committee and also for the Oshkosh Boys & Girls Club among all the other activities he helps with.

Mark Tushar resides in Oshkosh, WI and is co-owner of Derby Molded Products in Neenah, Oshkosh Marine Supply in Oshkosh, and Lake Lite Innovations in Neenah. He enjoys spending his time “up north” with his wife and three children doing activities such as fishing, hiking, canoeing, campfires and hunting. Mark is very involved in the community as well, belonging to Oshkosh Southwest Rotary, Wisconsin Family Business Forum, Boy Scouts, Leadership Oshkosh, Meals on Wheels, Oshkosh Youth Baseball and Battle on Bago.

Brian Gliszinski is one of the four original founders of Fox Valley Metrology, headquartered in Oshkosh. Brian is currently Vice President and manages the day to day operations for four physical locations located throughout the Midwest. He is a Milwaukee native and graduated from MSOE with a degree in Engineering. He has a passion for integrating technology into everyday activities. He currently lives in Oshkosh and enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. He joined The Battle on Bago Committee in 2013 and runs the Weigh Station.

Lori Davis resides in Neenah, WI and is Account Executive at Galow Plastics. She is the previous owner of Contract Converting and Valley Graphics. She enjoys time spent with her family doing outdoor activities like snowmobiling, fishing, boating, 4-Wheeling and racing. Lori is currently President of Oshkosh Southwest Rotary. She is a founding member of Battle on Bago, Oshkosh Irish Fest and Oshkosh Oktoberfest. Lori is also President of Oshkosh Family/Meals on Wheels. She has been an Ambassador for the Oshkosh Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Oshkosh and volunteers at Church, Rotary, Waterfest, Young Business Professionals, etc.

Kathy Hanson is a lifelong resident of Oshkosh and co-owns Fox River Landscape Management with her brother. Currently she is the assistant manager at Duluth Trading Company in Oshkosh.  She has been actively involved with the Oshkosh Southwest Rotary since 1997, currently serving as treasurer and was awarded Rotarian of the year in 2012. She has been involved with various community groups, including the Westside Association (serving as a board member and secretary). Women in Management (president) and a member of the allocation panel for the United Way. For the last several years, she has been the treasurer for Battle on Bago. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, sewing and other crafts.

Chris Anderson joined Battle on Bago in 2015. A lifelong Oshkosh native, he resides there with his wife and 2 children. Chris is the co-owner of Anderson Brothers Inc. where he is a fourth generation mason and concrete contractor. He is also on the board for Otter Street Fishing Club. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, going up to the cabin, hunting and fishing.
