With a slammin’ button accordionist and multi-instrumentalist, Danny Jerabek, and his other half, Michelle Jerabek, on baritone and tenor sax, vocals, guitar, washboard, etc., Copper Box is a force to be noticed! They are joined by Jason Van Ryzin (drums) and Kevin Junemann (bass). The talented group draws inspiration from many types of Americana, roots music and beyond, resulting in a distinctive musical melting pot that is easy on the ears and good for the soul.
Copper Box is highly recommended if you like to dance and/or listen to music that makes you feel good—and that it does! They have received several WAMI (Wisconsin Area Music Industry) awards (“Americana Artist of the Year” and “People’s Choice Award”) and other nominations to date.

Sandy DeYoung
Sandy is a Madison native who has made Oshkosh her home for the last 20 years. When not living and breathing the Milwaukee Brewers, Badger basketball and Badger football, she spends her spare time up north on ATV’s with friends or playing her guitar.
She calls her music “a hobby run amok” collecting equipment such as guitars (acoustic and electric), a mandolin, bass, banjo and amplifiers. One very late evening in a local pub, Sandy got up the courage to sing karaoke. She belted out “I Will Survive” by Gloria Gaynor to shocked friends who didn’t know she could sing! It took her friends over 5 years to convince her to sing “live”. The rest is history! Sandy continues to play at Deb’s Spare Time every other month or so and for private parties.
Her show is an acoustic, no frills show. There’s nothing “canned” for this experience – no singing along to piped in music. Just raw, acoustic fun.
Known for playing outrageously long sets without taking a break, she bring an energetic show with a wide variety of music for those young and old. Her live shows are an interactive event. Everyone is encouraged to sing along and grab some sort of noise maker from her bin – tambourines, maracas, rub boards and who knows what else might make the bin this week! She is always adding to the over 500 songs she already has ready to go!
